Tesla has facelifted their popular Model S, bringing it in-line with the Model X and 3 designs, which feature no “grille”. Original critics of the Model S design queried Tesla’s decision to make the car look “normal” by giving it a large black nose that kept it in-line with conventional automotive design.

Tesla Now Made in Europe, for Europe

Tesla has opened its new factory dedicated to supply European customers with Model S. The factory, located in Tilburg, streamlines the production process for European deliveries bringing more customers their Model S, faster.

The Tilburg Factory builds Model S from the very same USA manufactured components as used in Tesla’s US factory in Fremont, California. In Tilburg, assembly includes installation of the battery pack, powertrain and rear axle, and the cars first firmware upload.

New Tesla Superchargers Open in London & Birmingham

As per their stated intention to provide strategically positioned Superchargers, their own brand of rapid chargers, Tesla Motors have unveiled the latest additions to their network with installations at London and Birmingham.
