Ten Team Names Announced for Formula E Season 3 2016-17

The FIA has released the names of the 10 teams entered to take part in the third season of the FIA Formula E Championship, which gets underway in Hong Kong on October 9.

Eight of the 10 teams have been involved right from the very beginning of the world’s first fully-electric single-seater series, even if some have undergone a name change since then. The London ePrix is back for its second and final time at Battersea Park. The trouble with street racing is permissions to close entire city centres or areas within them are often fraught with problems and can take a while to achieve. Victory Motorcycles is returning with the Victory Racing team to compete in the Isle of Man TT Zero race with an all-new electric race bike called the Victory RR. Di Grassi Triumphant at First Ever Formula E Paris ePrix

Lucas di Grassi has won the latest round of Formula E, the Paris ePrix. The FIA’s home city hosted the sold-out event for the first time providing spectacular backdrops of the Eiffel Tower with a freshly tarmacced track located around Place des Invalides. Di Grassi’s win is his third of the season.
