Turning over a new Leaf – Long Term Update

Our Nissan Leaf long term test car has arrived, hurrah! The Leaf will be my daily driver over the next few months and I intend to fully capitalise on its electric efficiency. OY16XLO is a 30kWh Tekna, meaning it has the largest battery currently offered by Nissan and the highest level of equipment too – thank you Nissan! Official range is estimated at 155 miles (NEDC) but, as is true for all electric cars currently, true range is lower. Nissan Brings LEAF Up to Date with 30kWh Battery and New Tech

Nissan have brought their much loved world best selling electric car, the LEAF, bang up-to-date with a new larger battery and improved user technology.

The New LEAF includes a larger capacity battery, that only weighs little more than 20 kilos heavier than the 24kWh model. The new car does not replace the older version, however, and instead will be sold alongside it.
