Happy Anniversary to us! AutoVolt is now one year old and with this celebratory bumper edition of more than 120 pages, we’ve put our thinking caps on and created the very first AutoVolt Electric and Hybrid Awards! More than 40 pages in this issue are dedicated to the awards and they’re an educational way of congratulating the best vehicles out there.
Alongside our awards, we’ve been busy driving the latest crop of hybrid vehicles and one particularly recognisable cover car, the BMW i8. We’ve heard a lot from people who proclaim that this car doesn’t return good fuel economy and who can blame them; it’s a sports car, right? We took it on a 750 mile drive to get to the bottom of it.
We are also immensely proud to announce a new partnership between AutoVolt and renewable energy company, Ecotricity. Should you switch your energy supply over to them, you’ll receive a £25 John Lewis voucher plus a year’s subscription to AutoVolt! Ecotricity are a sensible choice of energy provider for everyone, particularly those who run an electric car. To claim this great offer, simply head over to www.ecotricity.co.uk/autovolt
